About Me
- Name: Mary
I started my career as a First Grade teacher in my hometown in NE Ohio. After 4 years I returned to KSU to complete a degree in Instructional Technology with licensure in School Library Media. For the next 4 years I served as the Library Media Specialist in the Kent State University School which at the time was Pre-school through Ninth grade. The school closed in 1980 and I was transferred to the College of Education and worked in the Instructional Resources Center for the next 25 years. Along the way I taught a variety of Graduate and Undergraduate courses in my academic discipline, Instructional Technology. In 2005 I was asked to focus my attention on distance learning and became the Director of Distance Learning for the College and Graduate School of Education, Health and Human Services. For the last three years I have also been the Co-Director of a grant focused on information literacy and education. ILILE (Institute for Library and Information Literacy in Education)
